Episode 50 Melanie Meleney
In October, 2018, Melanie Meleney a 45 year-old mother and grandmother, vanished from her Glen Burnie, MD apartment. Just over a week later, a person walking their dog along a nearby creek discovered human remains, a single leg. DNA testing revealed that the remains were Melanie’s, and that the leg had been removed. Despite the obvious, that Melanie didn’t remove her own leg, and likely couldn’t have survived doing that, police are only classifying her as a missing person. Melanie’s daughter Beth discusses the case with us, and how her family has struggled following Melanie vanishing.
